NCI brave Cornwall cliffs for movie fame
09/11/2015
Donning our rambling regalia, the team walked to the cliffs to meet both Chris from 'The Web TV Company' who directed the filming and the 'SuperDrone' team who used their impressive aeriel imaging kit.
Rising like a thunderbird spaceship appearing from below the cliffs the Superdrone AT6 V2 was a stunning piece of technology. It swooped and buzzed around us like a giant, blue-bottle fly capturing our hiking adventure from beyond the cliff edges and with aerial views.
Our tech team were very much taken with the Superdrone which incorporates some of the very latest multirotor UAV technology. Built from the ground up to provide un equalled image stabilisation and rock solid flight performance.
After exhausting treks up and down the cliff path, some serious brow-mopping and overcoming vertigo we all felt that a trip to 'The Wateringhole', Perranporth would be a worthy reward for our efforts. It wasn't long before we discovered the trampolines and we ended the evening bouncing as the full moon rose in the sky!
Big thanks to the hiking team, the Web TV Company and SuperDrone for an excellent evening and fabulous shots. We're excited to see the final video, it looks like Andy Warhol was right guys - we will get close to our 15minutes of fame!
